Hi, Jim!! As I said recently over on the boinking Monica thread, all the foreign news coverage I have seen--and all the interviews with foreigners on television--is just about presenting this Clinton stuff as a sex scandal. Of course, citizens of the world would be amused if they thought we were castigating Billy for that, and I think the far religious right might be taking advantage of the scandal to do the same thing, incidentally.

But I wonder if the foreign coverage is emphasizing the possibility that Clinton has perjured himself. I can tell you for sure that when I talk to people (most San Franciscans are very tolerant about sexual matters), it is the issue of trust in this president, not his sexuality at all, that is the center of the controversy. And very definitely a problem of leadership, as it relates to the president's judgment.

What evening gown? Was someone wearing a navy-blue dress or something?
