I have a specific place and possibly a specific dog (Shepherd Border Collie mix) in mind. We are now checking if he (Jack) is still available. Will get back to you.

It's the same (fabulously fantastic) animal sanctuary we got Bella from in July. Their website:

PS: Even if Jack is not available, it's a place very much worth checking out and maybe even visit. A little drive for you but certainly worth it. If nothing else, your kids will love the place. They always have dogs available for adoption and the owner (Ursula) is very particular in terms of matching up animals with potential future owners. A good thing in my books. She would rather pass up on an adoption than settle for a questionable match.

PPS: We fell in love with Jack and would have adopted him but came to the conclusion that the one dog scenario is now the way to go for us.
