FYI. The difference between cable and xDSL is that cable is a shared medium and xDSL is not. So even if you only get 1.5Mb/s with xDSL, you are sharing the 10Mb/s with hundreds of other users on your cable segment. So you might get better burst speed, but when things get busy your throughput will be worse.
