I've used HR Block since it was Kiplinger back in the 90s.
It depends on what kinds of income you have. I used HR Block beginning around 2000. My only complaint was at that time, they would not import from Schwab directly. I tried Turbo 1 year and hated it. I do a moderate number of option trades, 1-2/month. They are all Puts which are short sales. Turbo was really annoying when you enter the sale date before the purchase date. For each trade they asked multiple times if I really wanted the sale date before the purchase. Went back to Block the next year, and they had added Schwab import. Since starting my own business in 2014, I have used an accountant.
