>>CUBE beat estimates of .27 or .28 depending on whose numbers you use. They came in a $.30/share. The thing that is interesting about it is that many analysts last quarter gave non-dilutive estimates. On a non-dilutive basis CUBE came in at $.32/share, versus the non-dulitive estimates of .27 or .28.

The difference between dilutive and non-dilutive is that the dilutive estimates are suppose to include options as part of the per share calculation.

The key is that things should be in sync going forward. This has been a real sore spot with First Call and Zachs. They will now both be dilutive numbers. Also, that is a big part of the lowering of estimates by a couple of analysts. They had to lower their numbers, because they now have to give dilutive earnings estimates which should be lower because you are dividing by more shares. This also explains how an analyst can lower their
earnings estimate and still upgrade the stock to a strong buy. Lower the estimate because you now need to dilute, but upgrade the stock because you feel it will surprise to the upside.
