There are certainly some interesting things going on in that realm.
I've witnessed a couple oddities myself. One, about 25 yrs. ago, that stretched quite a bit beyond current mainstream understanding of physics. Instantaneous extreme velocity stuff. Several objects involved. All merging and gone about 15 seconds before three military aircraft (that I believe was from this "family line" en.wikipedia.org ) screamed over our heads (I was with 5 other people) at about 400 or 500 ft. directly toward the now vacated phenomenon.
We were on our way down a fire trail to a riverbank with a couple cases of beer at about 10PM that night. After we were subjected to that healthy dose of unrealness, the party was cancelled and everybody went their separate ways to internalize the whole thing. Funny how it instantly became an individual thing to process for us all. It was quite a show.
