<Individual rights IMO are less important than the common good of the American people....> Interesting statement, Doug. This kind of shows how you can take a premise, and it can lead in more than one logical direction. I would actually use that statement to argue in FAVOR of private citizens bringing private causes of action against sitting presidents. Because in America we have a president who is presumed not to be above the law, it seems to me he should be held accountable for his behavior. In fact, I think it is Billy's assumption for so many years that he was above the law that got him into this mess. Reality check!! I know the president argued that he did not have time for a lawsuit, but of course he plays golf a LOT!!! And I guess it is becoming more obvious he spends a lot of time mentoring young women in his study!!! What course of action do you think would be best for the common good of the American people this week, incidentally, Doug?
