Off Topic: Yes John.... I do believe it because I often get the opportunity to speak with some of the local DC press from time to time. Sad to say, even some of those who work for the Washington Times are guilty... :0) But you hit it right on the head 'o the 'ol nail... The "news" today is meant to attract ratings, not to sort out and analyze the issues which could most greatly impact our lives. Basically, true news reporting ended with David Brinkley and Walter Cronkite. Some would venture to say it died when TV started to view itself as a shaper of the news, rather than a reporter of it. Of course, the current Sexcapade sure did assist in sending Yasir Arafat packing back home. He even canceled his visit to the holocaust museum and said he would visit next time he was in town. Ya' just have to look at the bright side John.... :0) I just hope Gore is equal to the task that this nation will be facing over the next 2-3 years. Whadya think... Greenbay or Denver?? Remember if Denver wins, the prognosticators on Wall Street say that means the beginning of a bear market. GO GREENBAY!!!!! Regards, Ron
