"Diwan, who has never developed anything in his entire life, and has no education or training remotely related to virology or developing drugs, has been claiming to have cured the near totality of all lethal viral infections for the last 15 years."

Someone like Kim can get funding. Diwan wouldn't even last long enough to get laughed at by the scientific review boards who advise these agencies.
