| | | How can you say that-lol? Just look at FDR's programs. The proof is in the pudding.
And he didn't save capitalism. It was never in danger. We are a democracy and as such capitalism was always safe.
FDR was a super socialist, especially for the time.
A more vigorous Democratic welfare state is all Bernie is talking about and what every western democracy has more than we do at the moment.
We need some more socialism e.g. universal health care, free education, infrastructure work and a Green New Deal.
FDR would have done all of those if he was president today.
PS and the Hoover organization is just another conservative think tank and I pay no attention to what Republicans or conservatives have to say. They are usually full of shit.

"FDR was a super Democratic socialist" No; he wasn't. How FDR Saved Capitalism hoover.org = "People get dictatorships with socialist names mixed up with Democratic socialism" No shit, but it's a bit late to be thinking, "I could have avoided all this by calling mice elf a democratic capitalist." It's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better, cuz, long before Bernie started saying ,"Denmark Sweden", he was saying "Cuba Venezuela", and there's about $1B in ad money just waiting to remind America of that fact, no doubt with scenes of people starving in the dark in Venezuela. = "Democratic socialism is like what they have in every western democracy in the world." They all have democratic capitalism. Sweden and Norway have more billionaires per capita than we do.
