S&P Futures down 8.9(almost 70 Dow points) Positive NY Times article on FGII coupled with positive Barron's article on RDC may help to ameliorate the situation for the drilling sector however. Yes, there are people who take the SuperBowl indicator very seriously. Traders often are a superstitious lot. I really don't care what happens with the S&P. The drilling sector was one of the first sectors to correct. If we're not already baseing, we should begin to base soon. Perhaps some other sectors may get a taste of what we've been through. It's all part of what Larry Wachtel calls "sector rotation".
