I took my american friend, a trader of financial instruments, to dinner this night.

He just arrived in HK last night, moved from California to Hong Kong, via Tokyo, originally meant to be by Asiana Air (Korean outfit) but had to swap to Japan Air given cancellation of most flights from Korea to HK.

Newly divorced, and looking for new life start.

Anyways, chicken soup, dumplings, Kirin beer, and conversation. Before we went to the restaurant, we watched “Contagion” on HBO - a movie made in 2011 inspired by 2003 SARS episode.

Excellent movie especially given the topicality / relevancy. A lot like watching an airplane disaster movie whilst riding on an airplane.

Dinner was also fantabulous as was the macro conversation.

Key points, current generation of money managers have no clue about bear markets

Much experience w/ buy-the-dip

Lots of companies w/o merit implied by their respective share price

Let’s see how many w/ how much wish to go into the weekend w/ equity positions

Thus tonight (your daytime) important to watch.

Tesla can hit 730 or 530 this trading session, now 635.

Love it, the gaming.
