90% down day (2747 down to 258 up). This reminds me of the crash of '87. That Thursday and Friday were terrible down days and I think the next Monday too. Then Tuesday was dramatically up and there was a rally for a short time, then a sharp roller coaster up and down, and then up after a couple of months. At least, that is how I recall it. Could easily be wrong however--I didn't look anything up.
