There is a documentary about General Magic... First...I watched this for the second time recently Steve Jobs 2015, with Kate Winslet and Michael Fassbender imdb.com ..and then I found this and watched it this afternoon. imdb.com For anybody who followed GMGC (casually or otherwise) this will give make you feel some nostalgia. I watched my younger daughter teleconferencing with her friend some years ago--they were working on some homework and the video call was made over their iPods--using our wifi. Well, you get the idea--thinking about how tech has advanced over the past 25 years and watching these movies... I even bought an iPhone this year (although I've had an android phone for some time). What I seem to remember (before reading old posts and probably being terribly embarrassed by them) is that for awhile it seemed like they might have some voice recognition technology that was important. But I don't remember for sure. It has been awhile and I did not really do the homework to understand these computer tech companies to begin with. I do recommend the movies!
