Is FOX attempting to straddle a picket fence? Is their current business plan an anathema to once loyal viewers

The news has been somewhat suspect for a long time with the likes of Shemp on it. I suspect they are tryibf to retain the conservatives via talk shows and broaden their base in news. I have never watched Fox news or pretty much ant news for that matter .
