The guy's that picked her to sing the anthem knew what they were doing. The whole thing was planned and it got the desired results. Now a days you never know what your going to get when it comes to singing the national anthem. Last year during the Stanley Cup, Lucie L. of the show Xena, showed us her thingies, although she claimed it was an accident.

Singing the national anthem is not what it used to be.
