Viagra is expected to be launched this spring if all goes as planned.. ie April. I am not aware of any fast track. Viagra has a wealth of science behind it, and clinical trial work I have heard about has been successfull..ie placebo controlled randomized control trials. I am not sure what information has been published. FDA approves drugs based on rigorous scientific data that need not be published prior to approval. Key studies are often not published prior to approval. With 50% of Lipitor sales worldwide going to Pfizer, strong sales in existing brands Norvasc, Zithromax, Zoloft et al, Pfizer is positioned in all the key markets. I expect Pfizer to do well once the impact of Lipitor is recognized.
