Bloomberg supposedly waited to get into the race because he supported Biden. Now is the time for him to stop bleeding candidates from Biden tomorrow. There are nonlinear terms in how candidates get awarded based on thresholds, and Bloomberg makes it more likely that both Biden and himself get hit with those thresholds, thus boosting Bernie over what would happen if it were just Biden.
