I posted in the thread below, if you haven't already read it.

The decision to buy back shares is such an excellent decision that it should make you proud to own shares of LSI Logic. Not many other companies in the last three months have had the guts to announce the buyback. I only recall Cypress Semiconductor announcing this.

This is a great stock for 1996, in my opinion, and I believe they will beat the estimates for the rest of the year.

This is a gift horse for those of us who didn't get a chance to buy when it was lower since we are able to do so now. As for yourself, you may want to consider writing some covered calls to bring your average cost down. Just a thought.
