Agree with all of your post. It's a crazy time. I have large real estate holdings (physical houses), low duration bonds, gold, and cash. All are doing well in this environment, except my houses, which are just holding their value. I think you and I will get a chance to buy stocks very cheap. Fed's 50 bp cut did nothing to prop up the stock market today. Instead, it is going down. That tells me that this is more serious than most people believe. When we get surge in cases confirmed in the US and the supply chain disruptions cause new earnings forecasts and the earnings next quarter come out and show the damage, the stock market will not do well. In fact, I think the stock market will price in the bad news proactively. So I have lots of dry powder to buy.
