A Word on Clinton:
Clinton is one of the better Presidents we've had in this country and a good friend to the investment community. True, he is a flaming liberal at heart ( that's why we New Yorkers love him ), but he has done some great things for this economy: He cut the deficit diligently, passed NAFTA ( and is a strong proponent of Free Trade ) and was instrumental in getting the IMF to bail out the Asian Tigers. This attack is rooted in the POLITICAL and Religious! Who the hoot cares who he has sex with or makes love too! Excuse me, Jerry Falwell cares and the SUPER DEGENERATE CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS RIGHT. If we throw in the old-line military establishment, we now know the impetus behind this. It was okay for Bush, John Kennedy and FDR to have their affairs. But Clinton, that's a different story, right? Yesterday, I heard Trent Lott say that he wants to cut off all future IMF funding to Asia. Sounds great for the stock market and the investment community? The European, Asian and Israeli community collectively think ( along with most NEW YORKERS ) that THIS COUNTRY is NUTS and off its rocker for making Clinton's sex life an issue. Whether you personally like him or not, what President has been able to maintain strong growth with almost no inflation? Leave the President alone and just let him continue running the country!
