Hi Joe,
Welcome back. I came back into camp too, last week. PAIR's announcement of the FALCON chip is the kind of thing that will bring back the ADSL momentum players who bailed out this past fall and winter as they came to believe that PAIR was hopelessly behind the other ADSL players.
When they find out that PAIR now represents the leading edge of ADSL chip design (even better than LUCENT, or AWARE themselves), they will be back to move PAIR again. That could happen very soon, as the WinTelPaq-RBOC-GTE consortium meets this week to to decide standards.
My guess is that PAIR's chip will be one of the primary benchmarks by which the ADSL standards will be set, and furthermore, because of its built in programability, will be the FIRST ADSL chip in the future to meet ALL standards set by the committee.
So, get set for an interesting week....because all of a sudden, ADSL is back in the limelight and PAIR is right in the thick of it! I think a lot of people wo are not in PAIR right now are going to be scrambling to get there soon...they can have my shares, IF they pay me enough!
But actually, if you want to play it smart, buy a core position for the long term too, as this technology is going to pay the really big bucks out over the next several years for long term holders.
AHARHARHARHARHAR!!!!!
