TRUMP ASKS INFECTIOUS DISEASES EXPERT, PHARMA EXECS IF FLU VACCINE WOULD WORK AGAINST CORONAVIRUS, IS TOLD 'NO': This was something Trump didn't want to hear. Trump has been criticized for his response to the spread of coronavirus and his apparent lack of understanding about the epidemic.He just can't get it through his head that it may take up to 18 months for a vaccine. He doesn't understand why you just can't whip up something on the spot. It's never been more evident that Trump only hears what he wants to hear - this makes it impossible for him to comprehend input from experts. In the past, he simply gets rid of the experts, but that's not going to work with this. Fortunately he can't suppress facts from states. I've never appreciated the First Amendment as much as I do with this administration.
