| | | I walked the Jack to school this day, about 10 minutes away and not involving crossing any street of much traffic. Just saw folks going to work and coming out of driveways.
Whilst dialoguing w/ the teacher in the garden, and Jack moping around nearby checking out the various fruits on different types of trees, one of the 6 girls closest to his age came through the front gate of the compound, one named Soka, of course vivacious and naturally forward, said, "hiiii Jack" and off they wandered to check out more trees Soka knows to show and tell.
I did not realise it at the time, but now thinking back, the episode reminds me of an ancient tale, to do w/ apple, serpent, and a tree. Banish the thought. Onward to dance lessons on Friday.
For today, the Jack normally is not into swimming and such unnecessary exertions. We shall see if he is more enthusiastic today.
This sojourn has been very good up to. now.
Tomorrow the Coconut shall re-engage w/ dancing. She has been doing her distance-learning academics so far, and interacting as usual this viral period over Zoom w/ her class and work teammates.
Overall I believe the entire 2020 YTD has been excellent. |
