That's so silly. He did not lie. In a very real sense, Mexico is paying for it. Mexico has beefed up their efforts to police the border and Trump renegotiated NAFTA, which is now more favorable to the US. As to a violation of the Constitution, that's the dumbest thing I've heard. There is zero basis in reality for that statement. For one thing, Trump is the Commander in Chief of the Armed forces that include the Pentagon. The border with Mexico is a national security issue. We simply cannot have illegals, terrorists, and people with diseases coming in at will. Democrats will never understand that, but that's why they are not in power. So as a national security issue, he directed funds from our bloated Pentagon to pay for it. That's his prerogative backed up by the courts. Our system worked as intended, whether you like it or not.
On Biden, I agree with you. The DNC coup was masterful and it is now complete. I said it from the beginning that the DNC would never allow Bernie to win and here we are. Truth is it's going to be a boring election in November. Trump is a shoe in to win now. He would have beaten Bernie too, but it would have been hellaciously entertaining to watch Socialism vs Capitalism debate on stage. That would have been a show for the ages and frankly, we needed that show, so that Socialism could have received the spanking that it deserves in a very public way. Now, that won't happen.
Instead, we get to watch a poor old man who's lost his marbles embarrass himself and commit gaffes and share his Alzheimers with us for the next few months. Who do you think he'll pick for his VP? I'm betting Buttigieg or Warren. Not Bernie, though. |
