So far the opinion is running that two things are causing the blips in the market.

First - some are worried we'll be stuck with Gore as a premature President.

Second - there's this silly superstition related to the AFC winning the Super Bowl meaning that the markets will close down for the year. Come on folks - how many times has this happened - enough to form a valid indicator based on sentiment?

Any of you long-term chart people ever look at what some of the "underdog stocks" did for the months following this occurance in the past? Could prove interesting.
