"The Japanese groups Daio Paper and Marubeni announced on Thursday (27) a purchase of the paper company Santher, which has been in the hands of the Haidar family for three years.
The value of the deal is R $ 2.3 billion, not including debt
Owner of the brands of toilet paper Personal and paper towels Snob, the company underwent a financial restructuring in early 2018, for an extension of about R $ 500 million.
The announcement of the deal was made by Daio Paper and Marubeni, which managed 100 % of the control of the Brazilian paper company, through a joint venture signed between two groups ".

Daio Makes Hygiene Acquisition in Turkey
Özen, established in 1998, has a factory situated in an excellent location close to Istanbul and currently produces and sells products in three product categories, including baby diapers, wet wipes and toiletries, which is expected to have synergistic effects with Daio’s H&PC business.
