Nothingburger, I guess. Look at the lack of media interest in the string of vulnerabilities in Intel's CPUs over the last years.

"The research team said it notified AMD of the two issues in August 2019, however, the company has not publicly addressed the two issues, nor has it released microcode (CPU firmware) updates."

Good to hear that they followed the usual security vulnerability reporting protocol (unlike that suspect Israeli company last year, which gave AMD just 24 hours before publishing).

I would expect AMD to issue a statement and mitigation plans shortly.
