Apparently Costco has suspended free samples. The end is nigh. :-) I was at Whole Foods today and it didn't seem particularly weird. I think they even had out a tray of cheese samples. They have an awesome sale on chuck roast or stew meat right now- had to fill the freezer! We do love beef stew. Also, for Prime Members- air chilled chicken drumsticks- 1.99 a pound! (down from 3.99). Sweet. And if you are not eating air chilled chicken- consider it. Some studies have found it has far less bacteria than water chilled (like 75% less).
