Hi Steve,

One that has been very depressed and has been acquisitive over many years is NOV. National Oilwell Varco.

They are conservative and have been very innovative with in the deep water drilling.

That sector as we know has been in the doldrums.

That being said, their activity has been picking up.

If we get to very cheap oil, deep water is where it can be found.

SLB has pretty much written of shale fracing.

Shale still has been a learning curve.

I'm of the opinion that XOM and CVX will redefine how low the cost of shale will be.

On the fifth (of last week), XOM put on a 2020 investor presentation. Their discussion of "scale" in the Permian is brilliant with regards to tank farm and gas compressor stations spacing and rail to get it to pipelines for transporting it to their steam crackers and polypropylene, polyethylene, and paraxylene plants in Corpus Christi.

I was impressed with their well maximization plans, which are called "Cube development".
