One problem with testing: It's been red-taped by Obamacare then compounded by Trumpian BS at the CDC Message 32591301 Don't test, don't tell.... Can I interest you in a slightly discounted cruise package next week? My wife has been trying for 6 months to get approved for a minor surgery. She has a really good HMSA plan for medical. Because she is in her late 50's and is a self employed artist, she was offered Kaiser at a mere $1,800 per month when O-"care" became the law of the land. That is in after tax dollars my friend. She literally had to go work part time at a framer's shop just to get medical. After she left the shop she was able to remain on the books as a 'ghost' employee as long as she paid the Kaiser premium to the owner each month. The owner has the employees "leased" through an employee leasing agency which gets the benefit of 'pool' pricing for insurance. Then the Obamacare audits began and ghosting was eliminated. I hired my wife through my company through a similar legal leasing scheme. It costs me $2,100/mo but she does get a small pay check out of it. Let's call it $1,500/mo for insurance. So...one of the best plans available in Hawaii, $1,500/mo and she was finally approved for a procedure after 6 months. Now the hospital where she was going to have surgery just reported some staff is 'self quarantined' for covid 19 so she will now be waiting to see if/when she can even have the surgery. Bernie/Tulsi would have had my vote. O'Biden(as he referred to himself this week)...forget it. trump didn't get my vote last time and nothing has changed for me there either.
