Obamacare is so far from medicare or any other type of single payer that it's hardly worth explaining again but I'll try.. Obama sold the US health care system to the for profit corporations. Healthcare is the #1 issue for Americans...still. Mandating universal coverage is one thing....mandating we are forced to pay outrageous premiums to wall st. for 3rd world health "care" is another. Look around here on SI. Dems regularly complain about their health coverage and blame trump because he didn't "fix" Obummercare. That's as simple as I can state it. There is no push from R's to fix Obamacare because originally it was conceived by R's. Why the hell would R's fix it? Wall St. loves it. That's why our premiums have soared, health stocks have soared and healthcare has disintegrated. You live in a different country. I guess it's just hard for you to comprehend how debased we've become down here. Bill paved the way for the housing crash yet it's hard to find a D that doesn't think he walks on water Shrub gave us 911, a police state and eternal warfare Obummer sold out our health care and gave wall st. trillions as a reward for their destroying the economy Now we have Trump.
