It does serve constructive purpose. I was just pointing out to Leo that it does not result in a three dimensional "defined ore body", more like a "undefined two dimensional" ore body results. By "lighting up the ground" it shows where the conductive paths are, therefore where to drill next and improve your chance of a hit. Its like shinning a flash light at night at a sheet of aluminum, you can see the aluminum sheet "pop right out at you" but you can't see how thick it is. Thickness/depth comes with drilling!!

Conductive tests donot tell you "how much" metal is there either, just that there is a sufficient amount to pass a charge.

For clarification. My first message to Leo was to point out it could/might point out 2 dimensional "massiveness" (sheet of paper theory, not as he implied "massivenessin three dimensions.

My second message raised this conductivity test to an EMP level of testing. Which I posed as a question. I am unaware if they (miners) use this type of testing but the theory of three dimensional results is supported by EMP theory!!

God, I'm starting to sound like some damn authority. Ed tell me to shaddap will ya!!!My background is electronics/acoustics/electromagnetics and electrics so I am not winging the "theory thing".

Sorry to confuse the issue Taco, probably should have left the "massiveness" issue unaddressed!!

I'm gonna start a mining company, by assembling all the swamp land that Canadians bought in Florida. I am going to mount a drill rig on a swamp buggy ( 2- 540 cu. inch 700HP) and spend my time drilling holes in the foreheads of the local alligator population. Anybody want to be part of the IPO
