(3) The DRD straight add-buy was done because I like the idea of a gold tailing processing operation - in effect a bank backed by gold minus the risks of lending, trading and such, and paying a healthy dividend.
Also environmentally sound as it cleans up tired tailings dam and preempts acid water run-off and generally supported by the authorities.
Has no exploration risks given that every ton of tailings is meticulously assayed and recorded.
No mining risk because it doesn’t bother with such dirty hard work.
