Yes, Adams is very good because he detests what he calls 'mind reading,' i.e., impugning motives that lack all evidence except a hunch. His method, if you wish to call it that, deletes confirmation bias to a significant extent.
I really like how he classifies people and how the classification affects modes of thinking.
Economists, scientists, engineers, many lawyers, etc. are evidence-based thinkers whereas artists and others assess things based on how they feel. They confuse feeling with logic, but can have tremendous intuitive insights that we evidence-based thinkers don't develop.
I agree with him about 75% of the time.
I definitely agree with him about Kamala Harris being O'Biden's VP candidate. It makes a lot of sense, young, female, melanin-rich, liberal, etc. That she is a hack is irrelevant as we know require that a candidate check off all of the requisite PC boxes. These boxes no longer include competence.
MBS is a piece of work.
I can see that SA is punishing the USA as its main target on account of the fracking revolution. It has tried it before, unsuccessfully.
Russia and Iran are suffering collateral damage. Putin would have been insane not to reach an accommodation with MBS. Russian all-in production costs are too high and its government depends significantly on oil revenue. It makes no sense for Putin to start a price war with the Saudis. Thus, he didn't.
Iran will be cranking up its terror machine against the Saudi assets. Bet on it. |
