Barry, in regard to the CNBC interview. It's on now, EP said the acquisition of DEC is the most important step in making CPQ a 'world class' enterprise computing company. Palmer said timing was good since DEC divested itself of core hardware businesses. Francis asked about CPQ's execution (will it be hurt by DEC). EP said they will not be hurt, they are gaining a world class service organization, and DEC will enhance market share. EP said the deal will be accretive by the end of this year. Palmer was asked about layoffs, had no comment at this time. He also said the merger will help DEC to compete. There was some talk about whether the Feds will allow the merger, EP said he was confident the merger would be approved. Not much new said overall, sorry about the structure of this, I was typing as they were talking....
