(1) Completed tactical withdraw of infantry and mechanized cavalry troops from paper-gold space w/

- sale of 2840.hk finance.yahoo.com this Cape Town morning (HK afternoon),

- sale of GBS.L finance.yahoo.com yesterday Cape Town noon (London morning), and

- sale of GLD finance.yahoo.com and closing of Put option yesterday Cape Town early evening (NYC morning).

(2) Love the Cape Town time zone - can lose money very early morning to very late night, 6 days per week, spanning three continents, all from the simplicity of iPad

(3) While am well ahead for the year thanks to bold TSLA strategic gambit, and as important the connected simplification by way of sell-down of a lot of stuff mid-February so as to concentrate better.

I took a look at the trading ledger and realize that had it not been for the luck of sell-downs, the losses on that side of the balance would have been horrific and psychologically damaging. Luck, just dumb luck.

Was up 1.67% in 2008 year-end Message 25285730 , and so well-positioned to win in 2009, similarly am trying to ponder way to win going forward.

(4) At the moment there are some catalysts for next waves down, as well as triggers for the mother-of-all-bounces - in no particular order, margin calls, print-a-thon, virus cases moderating, contagion still going strong into the summer, helicopters, etc etc, and of course the trade war and the USA elections.

There were many moments after the initial 1929 debacle where folks bought the bounce but forgot to sell into the bounce, and it was ugly.

The two big factors: virus during hot weather / perennial virus possibility, and the USA presidential election.

Not easy. Lots of body bags at the ready for folks w/ assets.
