I wish I could recommend this 10 times.

I wish everyone would stop using this to make political hay. We do not have the capacity to treat the number of patients we could have if this spread isn't halted. There will be people who die from other things because they cannot get the care they need. I just saw a headline that New York hospitals are pitching tents for patients. Unfortunately you can't just call up and triple your supply of ventilators. Other countries can't help you because they are dealing with it as well. The bottom line is there isn't any amount of money that can make this go away. The only chance we have is to try to mitigate the spread. I understand people are stressed because many have suffered losses in their portfolios, but while everyone stands around trying to place blame, we are on the verge of a public health emergency. Many of you on this board are highly regarded, so your words carry weight. Please try to be responsible. I understand the media isn't always responsible, and I understand that mistakes have been made by lots of people, but we can argue that after this is over. Right now it just serves to suck wind out of the message that needs to be taken seriously. Our healthcare system could be so severely overwhelmed that a lot of people die. That is the message that needs to be front and center. There will be plenty of times for politics later.
