President Trump "strongly considering" pardon for Michael Flynn
By Alex Nitzberg

justthenews.com

President Trump on Sunday tweeted that he is "strongly considering" granting a pardon to his former national security adviser General Michael Flynn.

"So now it is reported that, after destroying his life & the life of his wonderful family (and many others also), the FBI, working in conjunction with the Justice Department, has “lost” the records of General Michael Flynn," the president tweeted. "How convenient. I am strongly considering a Full Pardon!"

Flynn in 2017 pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about interactions with Russia's ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak, but in January 2020 Flynn moved to withdraw that guilty plea.

The president last month granted seven pardons and four commutations, including a commutation for former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich and a pardon for former New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, who was recently interviewed on the " John Solomon Reports" podcast.
