(2) It sure looks like that the Fed’s mandate indubitably includes saving the empire, as is the BoJ, PBoC, BoE, ... respectively per whatever it takes, and it may take quite a bit given first-reaction to effectively-ZIRP and obvious intention to actually-NIRP
Stocks and bonds must be made to go up, per National Team China Protocol, and in China’s dire case, at most 5% of private person-on-the-street asset is in the market, nothing like 80%.
