Sorry for not being clear. I gave them credit not for shutting up that young doc, but for admitting being wrong and making him into somewhat of a national hero. Indeed... we most certainly need to - at the very least - diversify our supply chain of meds. About Huawei... Spengler has been writing about it, I think for at least a year. According to him, all existing alternatives to their 5G technologies are not competitive - which is why even many of our allies went along with Huawei. He was promoting the idea that the government should initiate a private / public effort to develop a competitive alternative. Maybe it’s still something they need to consider.
