That's ok. Gluteus Medial Tear repair. A tendon was torn where it attaches on the hip. Well, they should have replaced the hip because that is a far easier recovery! <ng> No weight on the affected leg for 3 weeks and physical therapy after 6 weeks. Oh, and wear a brace 23 hours per day the first 3 weeks. Needless to say, the brace went away after a few days - incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. Weight on the leg? You bet, but as little as I could.

I suspect people who invented the brace and people who perform the surgery have never worn the brace. LOL
