Jo Ann; VIVUS just BROKE 15!! Reasons? Two theories: The first is a
rumor that a conniving doctor called Tunica Albuginea is manipulating
the stock upwards. I would like to propose to you that that theory
lacks any credibility whatsoever because the good doctor doesn't know ED very well as our resident ED Guru Braddy has so eloquently stated in the past.
The 2nd explanation is more likely I believe: that paople are just buying it because it is a good buy. I pesonally like the 2nd explanation better.
In fact I sold NN today and bought more VVUS @14.7. NN has to still to face the potential specter of devaluation by China later this year to compete with devalued Asian "Tiger currencies". China is were NN does a lot of bus with.Also th enetworking fiels maybe in a transition mode; too much uncertainty.Took my 5 point loss and moved on . As much as I love NN you " got to love'em (stocks) and leave'em.
My Vivus gains so far more than made up for the loss. I'll get back into NN in the future.
Buying Vivus at 14.7 Jo Ann was actually much easier for me this time than in the dark days of May 97. At that time I bought it at 16.7
very near it's low of 16.2. So buying at 14.7 I actually feel like I have a better deal. At that time ( in the summer rally up to 33 from my buy at 16.7 ), I ended up paying my home and office off. I now hold
80% the amount of shares I held then.We could be taking retirement here Jo Ann.
Maybe we can all go and celebrate with the Broncos, soon.Good luck.
