May be a repost but thought I would pass it along. Bill Gates predictions for 1998 are on the page below. Summary is that he has six predictions -- four he predicted last year but they didn't come true. The remaining two are related to DSL and DVD -- since Microsoft is a player in the consortium should we call ADSL in 1998 a Bill-fulfilling prophecy! microsoft.com Can't wait for this afternoon's announcement - let's hope CPQ acquisition of DEC doesn't push it back...
