Engineer, I've passed your post to my friend. Maybe he's pulling my leg, I don't know ??? There are lots of office buildings in the area with all sorts of folks sitting in meetings with phones. I would think these meeting rooms would generate more traffic than a freeway Xing. I would also hope that the owners of all those 800 Mhz phones are busy soldering or something, instead of talking on the phone. PCS service has only been launch for 2 months. Isn't it possible that this part of the city is antenae (cell site) deprived? Isn't that the drift of the previous discussions of cell capacity? I assume from your post that a typical cell should be able to handle 2000 - 3000 calls? nf
