So, you have no idea that the NYT is part of your problem, do you? Yes, highly intelligent individuals like yourself can be brainwashed by extremist news reporting. That's why you have to leave it behind (right, I don't subscribe so I didn't read the article). Do yourself a favor and get out more. Learn to appreciate that you can live in NYC, Boston, or Baltimore without accepting the dogma so prominent in these places. Oh, you think we're rednecks?
