Hi Alan. Thanks for the new index.

Just a suggestion, but perhaps you could add a line below the "Dec 31 = 1000" etc., to indicate what the 1997 annual change was for a similar basket of stocks, based on Dec 1996 values. I think that it is a good idea to try to keep some perspective.....
