Social spacing can work because you need to get enough of said virus in you to infect you. Once supplied with adequate air, the virus gets diluted,, substantially, lowering the amount that can infect. Viruses are large, once Aerosolized they do not diffuse like oxygen, water or other components of air . Masks and spears through chain link fences. If used properly, among normal humans no problem to reuse. If in ER, very unwise.
