You can find a chart that shows exactly what Bernie is describing at coolhistory.com in the "US Economic Sector" section. Look for the "S&P Energy Index" chart about halfway down the page. You'll see an amazing downtrend channel that started back on the first week in October. You can also see charts of the other 7 major economic sectors including Basic Materials, Consumer Cyclicals, Consumer Staples, Services, Transportation, Utilities, Technology, and more.
