Lovely to see a LOL after all the political bickering on this board lately. Meanwhile, here in the UK, the "right-wing" government has just pledged to pay 80% of wages for employees of businesses in hardship, an unprecedented "socialist" move that has been lauded by "left-wing" trade unions, traditionally staunch opponents of everything the conservative "Tories" do. Long live pragmatism! This comes as restaurants, pubs, theatres etc. are told to close across all the four nations of the UK, and weekend party lions told to stay home. I guess many end up in front of their computers. Supermarkets are hiring like mad, though. And shopping and take-away delivery is booming — expect restaurants that do not already offer deliveries to transition quickly. I just finished another satisfying supper of deep fried offal, delivered to my door. Top notch!
